Congratulations John Lauren! We just returned from my brother's wedding in Golden, Colorado. It was a great weekend with family and friends. Lauren's family is so much fun, and it's easy to see why he loves them all. I was really able to enjoy the wedding since I wasn't the official photographer, but I still took a few pictures. I can't wait to see the real ones! I'll post some more later, but here are a few for those who have been checking... Besides the dramatic kiss, my favorite part of the ceremony was the Irish blessing that one of Lauren's relatives sang.

The Groom's cake is not customary in Colorado, but John insisted on the Southern tradition. Lauren and her mom found the perfect bakery, and they created the prettiest German Chocolate cake I have seen. It made me wish I liked chocolate cake and coconut!
